This is a very short version, and if you want to know more, go to the Internet etc.
This howto is without any guarantee, and you may use it on your own responsibility only.
There may be errors, but I do not want to use too much time to write this minihowto.
To check specific words or items you may try to Search in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page/ or http://www.google.com/
Klipper
is a clipboard utility, and maintains a history of recently used clipboard contents (selected text).
It
is a very efficient program, and can spare you a lot of text typing as
well as can be used for short term remembering of words and sentences
etc.
When you select some text, it is automatically placed into
a special place called the "clipboard", and can then later be pasted
(inserted) at your liking.
Each clipboard content (text) is
automatically placed in the Klipper clipboard history, and you can
later open Klipper, click on one of the former clipboard
contents
and thus place i into the clipboard (the clipboard can only hold one
clipboard item at a time - and that becomes the active clipborad
content (see below)

When
you select a klipper item, it is automatically brought to the top of
the list - top item is always the active clipboard item (see above) -
the "flies leg"
is only
shown when you select an item from lower down in the history list, and is not normally shown.
To do set-up of klipper, left click on Klipper
and choose Configure Klipper (see above) - and the Klipper Configure dialog opens up (see below)

Above is shown my Klipper set-up, as I prefer it (you may use another set-up).
If you select an image and right click on it and select "copy", it is placed in klipper and might look like this
If you select an url address in your browser (and deselect it) it is placed in klipper and might look like this
If you select a large document and deselect it, it is placed in klipper and might look like this
- you only
see the first -and last part of the text separated with some "..."
If
you see a strange word - or a long sentence, and maybe need it for
something else, you can select it and deselect and it is placed in
Klipper.
If it is sitting lower in the Klipper list, just click
on i to select it, and it is brought to the top of the list - and made
the active clipborad content.
Then place the cursor where you
like it inserted, middle click on the mouse wheel, and the text is
pasted (inserted) at the cursor position.
You might use Klipper in other ways as well, but above is the ways I use most often.
To clear the Klipper history, click on the "Clear Clipbord History"
